  • 1.  Correctable ECC logging limit reached - Assert

    Hello,

    I've upgraded RAM for server X3550M3 (running ESX 4.1.0). But when we start server and check Healthy Status on vCenter, I reciveded warning about memory Correctable ECC logging limit reached - Assert. For more detail, you can see in attach file. Would you please help me to solve this problem

    Hello

    you have three options :
    1) Take a look at AMM "Correctable ECC memory error logging limit reached" - IBM BladeCenter HS22, try to apply recommendation about BIOS configuration (despite the fact that you have other model server), reset sensor and wait for the reaction ipmi
    2) Make reset sensors and wait for the reaction ipmi
    3) Just change DIMM  to known-good

    I had same error on a hp blade. The issue was with the DIMM, once replaced it was fine. Is your blade management software reporting any memory problems on that server?
