  • 1.  Converter Boot Cd

    I have ESX3-servers and VitrualCenter.

    Last week I was granted a VMWare Converter Enterprise license because og this.

    So far, so good.

    How do I get/find the Converter Boot Cd?

    Good question, I did download the Enterprise version as well, but where is the boot CD ISO ?

    If you go to the download section click on download link next to Vmware Converter there are two options for you to download:

    EXE - which is the standalone application that offers you the hot cloning part of it

    ZIP - this is where the boot ISO is.

    Download the zip file and then extract it and the ISO will be in there.

    Hi everyone,

    Just a little question : is this .zip is only accessible to users who can get the VMWare Converter Enterprise Edition ?

    Well, I have just take a look to the documentation and yes, cold cloning (with the Converter Boot CD) is only possible with the VMWare Converter Enterprise Edition.
