    Note: can't choose vSphere-related board.

    Problem:

some VM see all the ISO from Content Libraries (CLs), others see an empty list.

    Details:

I have two datacenters in two linked vCenters (not sure if that's important). I have two CLs in DC-A, and two CLs subscribed to them in DC-B. One CL contains ISOs, another contains OVFs. CLs are stored on a SAN, accessible to the whole cluster (checked, confirmed). I'm logged with administrator login (works even on built-in Administrator@local). On VM1 I can see all the ISOs and can connect them to its CDROM, on another I can connect an ISO from the same datastore, but if I choose "Content Library" option, then I get an empty list, likke there is no ISOs in any CL.

    What could be the problem?

    you can use the command

    service-control --status vmware-content-library

to check the status of the Content Library services.

If the service is stopped, start it using the command

    service-control --start vmware-content-library.

    Thank you for reply.

But if those services weren't working, I wouldn't be able to see any content from those same libraries on other VMs.

Did you find the solution for the same? For VM's under some Host is visible and for VM's under other host is not show up.
