    Hello,

We try to clone server to a scsi having resources shown as:

During clone operation, an problem "error caused by file vmdk" is thrown and clone task stops. Server uses thin provisioned (40 Gb) and thick (250 GB) storages.

My question is: In target store, free space is 579 GB and thin provisioned space is 503 GB. While cloning thick storage (250 GB), do we need at least 250 GB capacity between  free and provisioned space? If not, how can I solve my clone problem?

    Thank you for your consideration...

Thank you timemachine, We will retry cloning after configuring storages as you implied.
