Hi,
We are using some B230 Blades, I'm trying to find out what is best for Vmware in regards to the bios settings. I didn't
get much help from Cisco. I want to configure the bios policy for best performance.
Thanks,
Greg
Hi
Welcome to the communities.
then you need to follow hit & trail method if no documentation available .
I found the following link:http://ciscoquicklinks.com/Tip-datacenter-ucs-bios-vmware
Has anyone else here with UCS hosts implemented these settings for a normal VMware host or VDI? I'm intrigue with the VDI's disabling of Hyper Threading.
Here's what Im running with for VDI.
Showing below config we uses in VDI environment. During the performance testing, we identified the limit upto 70 VM's per host (w/ Atlantis ILIO product) without degrading user experience and still getting enough IO without hurting the CPU resources.
