    Hi All

Trying to rebuild my home lab server and runup ESXi 8, but the box doesn't currently contain a NIC which is on the HCL for ESXi 8.x

Any ideas of a really low spec NIC from a reasonable vendor (HPE \ INTEL \ Broadcom) I can buy that's on the HCL from the bay (In the end this server wont even be networked !!

1 Port and 1 gig would be fine lol !

What NIC (Card) are you using with ESXi v8 ??

    Thanks all

Yea, thats a problem. They removed older drivers that supported cheap cards.  I guess via EBay I would try to find a card that matched up with the guide.

Blast thats really annoying ran a few searches and none i could find are how can i say value NICs !!

I will stick with my lab at ESXi 7.x and my NICs running HP NC360Ts which are by comparison worthless !

Need to post again on possibility's for partitioning a set up for a nested lab anyhow.

    Cheers anyway
