    Hey all,

I am attempting to find a way to change the default storage policy to make my new VMs thin provisioned instead of the default thick.  I have tried to look into this and found ways to do this if you are using VSAN or VVOLs, but we are not using either. To be exact the screenshot attached is where I am trying to change the policy.

    Thanks all,
    Andy

I have a very similar question. Can someone please answer, where is the Default Storage Policy for NFS datastores?

vSphere 7 (vCenter is U3, ESXi is U2). When I select any of my datastores, just as described in the DOC, there is no "Default Storage Policy" pane on the Configure > General.

DOC: "Change the Default Storage Policy for a Datastore" https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/7.0/com.vmware.vsphere.storage.doc/GUID-A5B23ECF-EE2A-4180...

Where is the Configure > General > Default Storage Policy pane?!?!
