  • 1.  Change path to storage to Round Robin from Most Recent used

    Dear Experts,

    For one of our hosts (Out of two total hosts) which is presented with two datastores:

    -Storage 1 (is working with RoundRobin vmware)

    -Storage 2 (is working with Most Recent used vmware)

    I need to know , if I can change it while things are working and there are two VM's in this 'Storage 2' datastore.

    While the above given two datastores are working with (Round Robin vmware) with the 2nd host in our environment

    Please advise

    Hi,

    Ideally it should not be a problem and I have changed the PSP Number of times from MRU to Round robin with Running VM's It does not affect you running VM's. But I would do it at a time for low activity or taking

    downtime as a best practice.

    Just did it on one of the used datastores. No issues.
