cannot synchronize host. disconnect hosts from vcenter

Quick overview about the setup and an issue:

•             Virtual infrastructure:
•             vCentre with one cluster hosting 2 hosts  with 35 VMs hosted .
•             Nimble storage array  used as storage and snapshot connected to hosts.

 

•             Issue:

 

1-          The main issue is that hosts cannot disconnected from the vCentre and all the option greyed out to the  “Virtual machine creation may fail because agent is unable to retrieve VM creation options from the host” on your ESXi hosts. This issue started on 15/07/2023.

2-          There was an issue unconfiguring vSphere HA agent on the host. To resolve this problem, reconnect the host to the vCentre server. 18/07/2023.

3-          cannot synchronize host. 19/7/2023.

4-          Cluster disconnected from the vcentre.

 

5-          vCemtre issue: vSphere health detected new issues in your environment.

6-         All hosts and vms are showing disconnected (from the vcentre)

 

7-          Disks also showing disconnected, but still functioning

8-          When I try to setup vcentre HA, it comes with the following error

•             Troubleshooting:

1-          Check the network connection between hosts and vCemtre, all fine. Hosts can ping vcentre and between hosts themselves. No issue.

2-          DNS, IP address and resolved name. All ok.

3-          Reconnect the hosts. Failed to connect Host2. While host1 having different issue as it is trying to re-add the host from scratch and I continued with the wizard window, but not accepting Root credential with an error says The host may not be available on the network.

4-          Restart the management agent accessing via Direct Console UI and via SSH for the host1. Cannot access Host2 via SSH, GUI and the screen is blank when I try to connect via Direct Console UI. As the most probability the pvxa responsible for the connection between host and vCentre as well as communicate with hostd agent.

5-          Making sure pvxa and hostd agents are running after the restart.

6-          Disable vSphere on Cluster and that fixed the issue on the Cluster and came back online.

7-          I’m able to RDP to the running VM and login. What if I login individually to the running VMs and shutdown and try to restart                     Host1&2? I’m worried that I cannot get the VMs to be running.
