Cannot install on P5n-T motherboard

HI, first post so be kind.

Trying to install ESXi 4.1.0 fron an ISO onto a workstation (for a test) with the following components.

Asus P5N-T DELUXE MB

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600

4 gig ballistic ram

I have 2 Sata drives installed.

The install goes ok up to the point where black and yellow screen with the bar on it nears the end and it says CBT LOADED SUCCESSFULLY.

The screen flashes with a very quick red error on it that says CPU0 4967 WARNING and then the screen goes to the welcom screen where you can press ENTER to install.

At this point the whole system is frozen, none of the keys are responsive.

I have update the BIOS, changed every setting in the BIOS and still the same error.

All the documentation i have seen says that the hardware should work.

And ideas.

Welcome to the Community,

if you have an USB keyboard, try unplugging/re-plugging it at the point where you have to hit Enter.

Regarding the red message. You may see it pressing ALT-F1 or ALT-F12. (once the keybord works again)

Many thanks for that, just swapping the keyboard cured the problem. I think i was too busy chasing the error rather than just look at the obvious.
