  • 1.  Cannot delete files or folders from datastore

    I am trying to delete some ISO's from our datastore to free up space. Some of them we were able to delete with no problem, there are a few that will not delete from some reason, it goes through the process like it is deleting then when it gets to around 80% on the status bar a message "Cannot delete file ISOs/SQLSrv 2k5" Any ideas how I can get rid of this folder? The folder is not empty I tried deleting the file first then the folder and get the same error both times.

    you are sure this .iso in question is not connected to any guest?

    That was it, it was still connected to VMs on another host. Thanks a million.

    something, that if you don't have, that may come in useful is RVTools. Along with many other useful and helpful information is a vCD tab.
