    Posted Feb 01, 2015 06:42 AM

Hi People - I am facing an issue with MS cluster server.

Both node has Disk connected but cannot see data drive on Windows server.

First node is up but with only C drive

Second node is restarting after BSOD all the time.

How can I get the data? Can I attach scsi disk to other vm so that i can get the data?

    Many Thanks.

If all cluster nodes are down (i.e. no access to the virtual disk/RDM), this should work without issues.

Cannot access the cluster, disks are in the form of VMDK only, windows machine cannot see the drives and the content inside. How can i attach to a different VM? should I remove the quorum? will quorum removal affect the data? Kindly suggest..

Simply add the existing virtual disk(s) to a helper VM. In the New HDD wizard, select "Use an existing disk" and browse to the .vmdk you want to attach.
