    Hi guys,

I have a vswitch with serveral vm with only one port group. Now we have decided create new VLANS y assign each VLAN to virtual machines now included in only one port group.

how could We place each vm into each VLAN?

    John.

now included in only one port group.

means one Virtual Machine port group?

Are you using Standard Virtual switch or Distributed Virtual Switch?

You can create multiple VLANs for VM based on the demand. In Standard Virtual Switch use 4095 VLAN id  & VLAN Trunking in vDS.

We have three ESXI and a cluster with HA and DRS.

Yes, the switch is Standar swtich.

Now, we have the vms placed into the default port group created when esxi is installed.

Today, the idea is create differents port groups with diferent VLAN id and assign the vms to the proper VLAN we have planed

I am not able to find the option to move a vm machine form the port group where it is placed to the new port group.

Once you have created the additional port groups and assigned the appropriate VLANs to them,  you can edit your VMs, select the virtual network adapter and change the Network Connection to set the new port group.
