    Hi Leo,

    Welcome to VMWare Community.

    I would like to know bit more about how you have present your Datastore LUN to your ESXi host.Are you mounting any RDM to host?

    Verify from Storage end that the HBA number are matching with this host.

    Hi Dee,

    Thanks for your responce.

    This is screenshot of host who does not "see" datastores hosted on HP P2000.

    *First Serial Attached SCSi is disk on HOST.

    *Last two are drives connected on HP P2000.

    (Everything was working fine until ESXi reinstall)

    Is there any more info i can give to you?

    Thanks Leo,I'm not sure it something related to datastore signature problem.I would suggest you an alternate way If possible try LUN Copy and present it to host again which is not recommended one.

    If you gonna check for datastore signature,try with VMFS Resignaturing (Only Test Environment).

    For some strange reason i am not able to "add" any of datastores anymore.

    I'm getting pretty upset right now :smileyhappy:

    Can you try to re-scan the datastore and HBA?

    When i try to add Datastore from vCenter, i get blank screen as above, but when i try to add datastore when connected directly to host with vSphere i can see both of external datastores, but adding and formatting of both required datastores isn't a very good option for me...

    If you  have any more ideas, i will be really thankful for your assistance.

    You may want to take a look at the command line options in http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1011387 to see whether you are able to mount the datstores this way. The article doesn't list ESXi, but I think the commands didn't change from v5.

    Hi,

    Few updates about my issue with SAS drive not shown on 2nd ESXi host:

    list on valid server:

    list on troubled server:

    Rescan of datastores or vmfs does not show storages on troubled server. Do you have any ideas? Thanks!
