  • 1.  Add PCI Device greyed out in machine settings (ESXi6.7)

    hello all,

    Does anyone know how I can get the add PCI Device to become available in the settings? It's greyed out in the "add other device" in my VM (Vsphere EXSi 6.7) and i haved the device connected to the slot on the host machione (Hewlett Packard Enterprise ProLiant DL380 Gen9) .

    Did you enabled passthrough for that device in pci device list?  After that reboot your host.

    After you've enabled passthrough as mentioned above ensure your vm is powered off when adding a PCI device.

    i am experiencing the same issue. PCI Device is grayed out. Have you got the solution for this ?
