I'm getting the following error when trying to convert a Windows 2003 server with Converter 5: A general system error occurred. Found dangling SSL error.

I read this kb article http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=2002296 but at the phisical server DNS is fine. It can resolve all names that i tried and hosts file only contain the entry for localhost.

Also, i can't  find messages like these ones:

[#18] [2011-06-29 10:50:34.904 04732 warning 'App'] [,0] [NFC ERROR] NfcNewAuthdConnectionEx: Failed to connect to peer. Error: Host address lookup for server host.domain.abc failed: No such host is known
    [#18] [2011-06-29 10:50:34.904 04732 info 'App'] [,0] Error 2338 opening disk vpxa-nfc://[VMFS02]

Any ideas of what i should do?

The server host.domain.abc must be visible (and accesible) from the source computer.

    From the agent's log:

warning 'Default'] [,0] [NFC ERROR] NfcNewAuthdConnectionEx: Failed to connect to peer. Error: Failed to connect to server 192.168.128.116:902

your VC is not visible from the source machine...
