    Hi all,

i've recently moved off the free esxi version to essentials so i can perform vmware image backups to a nas box.

over 1gbps its taking nearly 5.5 hours to backup 1tb of data.

So i've started looking at building a bigger back bone with a 10G switch, 10Gbase-T nas box and found some Synology E10G18-T1 cards that run at 10GBase-T.

However, i can't see these listed in the compatibility lists.

Can anyone recommend any 10Gbase-T cards that work in VMWare?

note: this project is on a budget (as always), so I can't really look at moving to fibre.

    Thanks in advance
