The quest OS is Windows Server 2003

    OS hypervisor is ESXi 6.0

i need to increase (D) partition space ?

    My plan is:

    1- Poweroff VM

2- Export VM to make backup

    3- extend vdisk space

    4- Poweron VM

5-Go to disk management of VM OS

6- Select (d) volume and increase the capacity

    7-reboot VM

    is't correct this way?

    Think you

A backup is always a good idea, although it is possible to increase the virtual disk and the D:\ partition online in this case.
