JIRA plugin with CDD 6.4

Hi,

 

A question about JIRA plugin with CDD 6.4:

 

After the initial JIRA contents import in CDD, it seems that the JIRA contents are not automatically updated with the JIRA Issues according to their new status. Currently It is necessary to synchronize manually the JIRA contents in CDD to visualize correctly the JIRA issues with their new status.

Does this behavior is normal ?

Yes, this is how it currently works.

This is not a confortable behavior. A manual synchronization must be done and this can be only done by users with System Administrator or Administrator roles.
It will more valuable if an automatic synchronization can be done and/or if a new task to synchronize all the JIRA contents defined  in a Release can be implemented in a next JIRA plugin version.

Hi,

 

I agree with you that  it should be automatically synchronized. In fact, we already have this planned, but we want to have it synchronized in a smart way, so that when a new build arrives, we know what the content is (that's when we'll sync).

I'll be happy to update once we start working on this (hopefully in the next release).
