    Hello,

    my UVC start really sloooooowly : 3 - 5 mins to access to the login interface.

    My VM has 8Go, and I have already optimize Java parameters in univiewer_console.bat :
    cmd /D /C start "UniViewer Console" "%MY_JAVA_HOME%javaw" -Xmx2048m -Xms2048m -XX:PermSize=512m -XX:MaxPermSize=512m -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true -Djsse.enableCBCProtection=false -cp jars/uvc.jar com.orsyp.kmeleon.UVCLauncher


    Did you already have this case ?

    What version of UVC ? Can you check the CPU and memory usage ? On which OS ?  Is there any error message in the UVC log or on Windows Event Viewer ?

    Our UVC startup is very slow, but we don't have any solution. You only can keep your UVC opened all the week...

    Windows Server 2012 - CPU 4 % (of 2,13Ghz) and RAM 2,4 on 8G

    Nothing in event or uvc logs

    UVC 6.8.21

    Sry, I have set only 1024 in parameters (doesn't start with 2048, even if I use Java 1.8.073 64bits)

    in 2048 nothing happens. No load interface, no errors.

    Could you send us the result of the command set ? It is possible that you are still using 32-bit java .

    Are you using Citrix or similar remote desktop environment?
    I have already seen this on this kind of setups, and incresing the UVC log level to TRACE allowed us to point the infrastructure being the reason why the startup is so slow.
    Have you tried on your local PC / laptop to install and launch the console and compare the time it takes?
