How we can create MQ Stubs in Dev Test 9.5.2 and how we can set configuration file and activate that?

Previously I was using CA Lisa 7.5.2 and moved to 9.5.2. I want to create MQ Stubs using IBM MQ protocol that I have used in previous version.

    Please let me know steps.

Also help me in letting know where we can create config file and activate it in dev test portal.

    thanks..

    Hi Shivam,

One of the quickest way to create an MQ Virtual Service is to create one from RRPairs.

Rightclick 'Virtual Services' and select 'Create New VS Image' -> 'From Request/Response Pairs'.

For the Transport Protocol you can choose 'IBM MQ Native' or 'IBM MQ Series (Deprecated)'.

My suggestion would be to use the new 'IBM MQ Native' protocol.

Let me know if you need screenshots.

A good intro would be this video:

IBM MQ Native Support - DevTest 8.1 [Demo]

You can choose a config file (that was created previously in the Workstation) for a test in the portal as follows:

Select the Action: 'Run with Options':

That allows you to choose the Configuration file and to set properties within it.

    Regards,

    John

Yeah please can you send screen shot. It would be better if you can send screen shots for 9.5.1 version how to create using RR pairs and where to select protocol.

Also give me screen shot , where and how we can create new config file and how we can test implement that config.

Also how we can test that MQ service using Dev Test case.

    thanks..
