CA PAM - How to use Query_Database operator

01. Database Properties

• Input Source (Specifies that the user can choose to submit SQL statement as an in-line expression (the default) or data variable. Select either Inline Text or Expression from the drop-down list)
  • Expression
• Expression (Only available when Expression is selected as the Input Source. Specifies the generic SQL statement as an expression. Use this field to provide a variable.)
  • select count(0) from ca_contact

02. Database Server Login

• Username
• Password

03. Connection Wizard

• database Type
• Server Host
• Server Port
• Database name
• Driver Name
• SQLServer Instance Name
• Connection URL
