We have had some problems sending email to a select few clients.  I did an Internet search and found several postings on this forum regarding doing a search on the Symantec IPremoval site.  Our IP address comes back clean, but I was then told by a client that we were listed in the Symantec Global Bad Sender list that is used by their spam appliance.  So, is there a different way to check the list and is there a way to get our  IP address cleaned up?

We are a legitimate company that does not send out a lot of emails and nothing bulk.  Our IP address is only about a month old and who knows who had it before us.

Any help to get us off the list or to the right department would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi David,

Please can you provide your sending IP for me to check against the .cloud infrastructure.

    Kind regards

    Hi,

my customer dont'send emails to domain that use messagelabs as mail server.

    In my system log see:

connect to cluster4a.eu.messagelabs.com[85.158.139.103]:25: Connection timed out

My public IP is 91.227.202.254 and not blacklisted in DNSBL or RBL lists

can you tell me what is the problem?

    Hi David,

I have checked your IP 216.55.183.227 and there is no reason why we would block your connections. Therefore in order for me to investigate further, can you provide the sender and recipients domain for me to obtain some logs to see where the failure lies.

    Kind regards

    Hi Ipis,

I have reset the confidence of your IP across our infrastructure and this should resolve your issue.

    Kind regards

Sorry, recipient that told me we were on the blacklist was sanramon.ca.gov

We believe the same issue with telit.com but that was not the original data point.

    Hi,

I can confirm that none of the domains you have provided are .cloud customers and also the IP you provided is not on any of our blacklists and the reputation of that IP is fine.

We will not be blocking your connections when sending emails from any of those IPs to our .cloud customers.

Should you still have issues sending to Symantec customers, it may be part of the Messaging gateway products to which the .cloud team have no access to. If you do have problems with them, you will need to raise this in their Forum:

    https://www.symantec.com/connect/security/forums/messaging-gateway

Please set this thread as resolved to ensure others do not add to it.

    hi Kevin

we appear to be having the same type of problem

we changed our web hosting about 3 months ago and its been a ongoing fight to try and get our bank to receive emails from anyone at our company

our ip address for our mail is 149.56.204.49 I have checked the ip address reputation investigation and it says its ok

but for whatever reason the banks mail server is rejecting it as Symantec Global Bad Senders see attached

we really need to get this resolved as its costing us a lot of time and money

thank you very much for any help

    Rod
