VIP (Validation ID Protection)

  • 1.  VIP offline token registration

    offline token registration hangs on screen where you click on register.   OS windows 11 PRO 24h2,  python 3.9.0 pip 21.3.1

    and even tried on python3.64 and hang issue on this version of python.  Has anybody ran into this issue and resolved it?  if so what version of python and pip did you use to work around this issue?

    Note: Coming in Summer '25 is the next release of VIP Integration for MCP that no longer requires Python. Direct-to-VIP Cloud authentication will be supported.

    Hi Keith,

    As Andreas noted, we are in development of an updated version of the MCP that removes Python. This version is currently on schedule to release at the end of May. We are actively looking for customers to test this beta version and provide feedback. If you would like to review it and try it out, please open a support case and we can facilitate getting you the software for validation.
