functionality in using ADFS with ADFS plugin after upgrading ADFS version

I have upgrade ADFS version and installed the new plugin. I have notice when signing through ADFS get option for userid and password or VIP code.

If select userid and password, fails to signin and the vip code option works.   Under the old version userid and password and then it prompted for code.  I do notr see away to change this in ADFS, is this a plugin issue with ADFS or and ADFS configuration issue?

Hello -

With the old version, did a popup window appear with a prompt to enter your code? After the upgrade, are you still seeing that popup or is the 'security code' field underneath the usename\password fields? 

If the popup is missing, something may have happened with the old JavaScript integration. Confirm that the data in the IAScript.js file from the old installation was copied to the same file in the new install. Also, confirm that the 'Enable VIP Java Script Integration' option is checked in the VIP Integration Settings:

Java script was not enabled.   so password will work now.

I would like for it to prompt for userid and password and then code, is that a java script change or an authentication setting in ADFS?

Both methods will prompt for a VIP security code if the VIP plugin is working properly.

Without VIP JS enabled, AD FS will validate the username and password:
If valid, the user is prompted for the VIP Security Code:

With VIP JS enabled, AD FS will validate the username and password as before, then the user is sent a PUSH or prompted for the VIP security by a popup:

got it fixed the default claim for relay trust had to be changed to one that required MFA
