Dear Community,

After upgrading and preserve the configuration from SPE 8.2 to 9.2, I have upgraded my Java 17 but I am facing an issue when accessing to UI.

Error:

Turn on TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, and TLS 1.2 in Advanced settings and try connecting to https://localhost:8004  again. If this error persists, it is possible that this site uses an unsupported protocol or cipher suite such as RC4 (link for the details), which is not considered secure. Please contact your site administrator.

I have tried the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Amended Java and Regedit to enable TLS 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2
  2. Amended the configuration.xml
  3. Making sure RESTAPI is enabled and Java location is added
  4. Verified netstat on port that is assigned and listening
  5. Verify the internet explorer enabled TLS 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2
  6. Use other web browser
  7. Looked at the logs but doesn't seems to state the error

Please advise.

Thank you.

Hi Jing,

Thanks for reaching out to the Broadcom Forum on this!

I'm sorry for any confusion, but once you upgrade from SPE 8.2 to 9.2 the WebUI is no longer available, this was retired in favor of the RestAPI and the SPE console.

For more information see this link:

I hope this helps.
