Which AE-version do you use in production ?

Hello dear people, we have a problem:

We use AE V21.0.3 in our productive system. This has a known bug in the REST process that keeps causing us problems. That's why we've been trying to carry out an update for a long time. We tested versions 21.0.9, 21.0.10, most recently 21.0.11 and most recently 21.0.12. All of these versions have bugs that prevent them from going live. Corresponding tickets for these bugs have been opened with our support company. They have already contacted Broadcom, but have not yet received a response.

Now my question: Due to the aforementioned REST process bug, we want to update the productive system as soon as possible. Which version do you use or can you recommend for use in the productive system?

we have a similar request or need to upgrade, we are on 21.0.7 and tested 21.0.9, 21.0.10, 21.0.11 with major stoppers for us.

Now we will try 21.0.12 this or next week in Sandbox.

you know the idiom: never change a (more or less) running system ;-)

I know this idiom ;) ... but the REST-bug is really annoying and prevent sometimes our users from working because the REST-process is stopped.

V21.0.11 did it almost to production, but a problem with an "Unexpected Error" on several actions turned up :( The same bug exists on V21.0.12.

I'm currently running 21.0.10 HF2 but planning on moving to 24.2 in a couple of months.  It seems ok in our development environment so far.  I've been looking for the rest bug you mentioned from 21.0.11 onwards but haven't found it in the community.  Do you have a link for this?

the REST-bug is in V21.0.3 (our productive system) and was already fixed in a later version. Later versions contains new bugs :(

The issue in V21.0.11 (and the same in V21.0.12) is often not reproducible, only in one situation I am able to "create" the error message. I didn't found anything in the community about this issue.

do you mean bugs in the REST-API or RA-REST agent?

We had some issues with the RA-REST agent recently but the newest version (v4.6.13) fixed it for us.

As AE we are using v21.0.11 and v21.0.9HF1 in production but we are going to update to v21.0.12 because of a annoying bug in v21.0.11 (not active objects are not going to deactivate automatically)

And have you perhaps some details about your bug? :)

Hello Stephan,

the V21.0.3 REST-process-bug is already fixed. This bug happend when you opened a running JOBP in process monitoring. In the log of the REST-process you got a lot of messages "java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Unable to find the fromVertex for WorkflowStructureItem{runId= ..." and the memory usage increased until there is no memory left. Then the REST-process cancelled and the memory was released.

The bug in V21.0.11/21.0.12:
