Just tried tu upgrade SEPM (RU7 to RU8) and first encountered this message.

Click on "Go to Article" redirects to the blank page. Quick Google search gives the 'SEP "PAC File Mode" Traffic Redirector End-of-Life' page, which describes Tunnel Mode in more details.

As i don't need/use this feature I wanted to disable it.
Disabling the policy (Policies -> Web and Cloud Access Protection Policy -> Integrations policy -> uncheck 'Enable this policy') did not help. 'Enable Web and Cloud Access Protection' was off anyway. After re-running setup I've got the same warning message.

I had to 'Withdraw Policy' in each client group to accomplish this. Warning messege did not appear at the next re-rerun.

But this one, regarding managing older clients, did.

I'm running Endpoint Security Corporate, in hybrid mode (which includes cluod managed clients as well as those controlled by on-premise SEPM), exactly because of this. To have the last 7 v12 clients centrally managed. These are the old OS machines (Win Server 2003 and Windows XP) which cannot be upgraded for the various reasons but are still in use. They are all on LAN and blocked off Internet, but I cannot leave them totally unprotected.

My question is: SEP Manager 14.3 RU8 definitely cannot manage v12 clients any longer?
I have to stay on SEP RU7 to accomplish that?

Thank you

SEPM 14.3 RU8 very definitely cannot manage v12 clients.

SEP 12.x has had no support whatsoever for a long time now: see End of Support Life for Endpoint Protection 12.1

Yes, I know that, but I still need some kind of protection for my old computers. And also, inspite of v12 EOL and no updates, I was told by the Broadcom representative, year or so ago when they pushed me to switch to the SESC, that this wouldn't happen for a while (for long enough time for my older computers to die out)

Thanks for the confirmation, anyway.
I guess I'm stuck at RU7 then.
