Hi Team,

Our customer are experiencing an issue with increasing memory usage in a system using the Spectrum.
We would appreciate any advice you can give us.

1. Products
Spectrum 22.2.6
OS:RHEL7.2

2. Question
Over the past week, the system's memory usage has increased as shown in "2. System Configuration".
Any advice on how to investigate if the increased memory usage is related to Dx NetOps Spectrum would be appreciated.
By the way, MySQL is experiencing "slow queries", and the customer is worried that some kind of problem is occurring.

[System Configuration]
                                                              Min     Max
S1-P (Primary   Spectro Server)   1.06 (Max/Min)  82.50   87.15
S1-S (Secondary Spectro Server)   2.13 (Max/Min)  34.31   73.14
S2-P (Primary   Spectro Server)   2.17 (Max/Min)  34.15   74.18
S2-S (Secondary Spectro Server)   1.09 (Max/Min)  85.44   93.31
S3-P (Primary   Spectro Server)   1.06 (Max/Min)  82.35   87.50
S3-S (Secondary Spectro Server)   2.12 (Max/Min)  29.50   62.67

                                                  Min: The minimum memory usage.
                                                  Max: Maximum memory usage.

Best to open support ticket so they can investigate further.

But in the mean time, any increase in model counts per SS?

As for mysql, in reference to what part of Spectrum application?  Getting events?

Note: they are always trying to improve performance and add security fixes, so might suggest moving to 23.3.13 or upcoming 24.3.1 (support RHE9).  And move to RHE8 or 9 as RHE7 is EOL.

Hi Jeffrey-san,

I sincerely appreciate the continuous support you've provided.

It's been a while since you replied, but I'd like to ask you something about your response.
Regarding the advice below, could you please tell me the specific way to check it?

Spectrum model count...  not sure if there is a locator search based on create time to check how many models created since X date.

MySql... you said mysql was slow for queries.  What queries are slow?  trying to get events from DDM or OneClick?  Using report manager, and those mysql queries are slow?  Portal sync resulting in slow mysql calls on OneClick server?
