string value not populating automatically in the syslog encapsulated assertions

Hi Team,

We have an encapsulated syslog assertion in our API configuration to forward the logs received for the API to our log servers. We have configured the variables like action, client id, client ip, username, and status code to be forwarded to our log servers. Now we have added a new property named "portal.analytics.organization.name" to capture the organization name details. This property is being taken from our client id secret validation for analytics purposes.

Please let us know how to auto-populate the value for this string so that the same will be reflected across all APIs that have this syslog encapsulated assertion. PFB screenshot for reference.

Hi,

you should remove portal.whatever from the 'gui' by unticking the option. This way current variable will be forwarded to your encap. Otherwise enabling form display enforces you to explicitely assign value.
