Restrict user activity on certain jobs

I have a set of jobs (identified by owner = abcxyz) that should only be run by one team of individuals who have the active user of abcxyz@a-----.a---.b-----.e--. Any others, particularly those with the active user of defhij@a-----.a---.b-----.e--should not be able to run these jobs.

Is there a way to do this?

I would say try this with the different users and owners and where it says root, change the users access to the different owners you mention, i.e. abcxyz.
