We are currently running One-Click Console version 22.2.5.0.36 and in the One-Click Administration page we have noticed the supported JRE versions are set as follows:

Yet, we are installing the following JRE and Iced-Tea Web as indicated below:

So my question is, as we do not have the current JRE being allowed, does this have the potential to cause strange behavior with One-Click Console.  And if so, what would be the proper JRE string to enter in the "Supported JRE Version" section given what we are all currently running.  From the versions currently there it appears those were the old SUN Java version and have nothing to do with our current Eclipse JRE version.

We have been having some strange unexplained anomalies with Console views, not updating, etc. which is why we are questioning the Supported JRE Verion entries.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards.

Hi Jim

As per your screenshot above, the OneClick web server accepts Java Runtime Environment version 1.8.0_51 or above (1.8.0_51+). The "+" means alllow new versions. 1.8.0_121+ and 1.8.0_161+ are redundant.  The 1.8.0_51+ takes precedence to the 1.8.0_121+ and 1.8.0_161+.

I would modify to the JRE version to that comes with Spectrum 22.2.5: 1.8.0_352 and you can include the "+" to allow new versions.

Note: OneClick will not allow JRE 1.8.0_351 and below

Thanks,
Silvio
