I use storcli commands to get details of RAID configuration on the servers.
When I use following command
.\storcli64.exe /c0 show

I am getting empty Serial Number on some Cisco servers. I get serial numbers on other servers mainly Dell poweredge servers.
What could be reason?
Is the RAID controller card not having a sarial number or is there a bug in tool that it can not detect the serial number?
What does SAS address represent?
Also does the storcli command give the information about which PCI slot is the RAID controller in?
