Hi,

I'm fairly certain that at one time I saw a technote relating to configuring API Gateway to join a Windows Domain so that Windows Authentication could be used in a JDBC database definition for MS SQL as opposed to a fixed username and password, but I don't seem to able to find it.

Does anyone have a recent link as to what needs to be setup for this to work for Gateway 11.0 ?

Thanks,

Dave V.

Hi,

So I have found this article which suggests that it all magically works somehow without configuring Kerberos, but that is referring to the DataDirect drivers.

https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/233936/api-gateway-active-directory-integrated.html

I also found this Microsoft Article which suggests that Kerberos Configuration will be required:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/connect/jdbc/using-kerberos-integrated-authentication-to-connect-to-sql-server?view=sql-server-ver16

Can anyone confirm how to configure a MS SQL JDBC connection to use Windows Integrated Authentication in Gateway 11.0?

Thanks,

Dave V.
