Facing Logon error: Access denied issue in v24 AWI

Hello All,

We are in process of upgrading our AE v10.0,2 to v24.0, Where all CP, WP, JCP, JWP, REST, AWI all are running now.

When we try to login with the Admin user it throws logon error: Access denied.

Current Version : AE v10.0.2

Target Version: AE v24.0

Database: 19.3

OS: OEL 9.4

Java - Open JDK 11.0.22

Please help us on this. Also let us know if you need any details.

Difficult to answer without AWI logs, but you can check a couple of things:
1. JCP is reachable from the host where AWI is running (try in browser https://<jcp_endpoint>, include also the port if you don't use the standard TLS port 443)
2. The JCP endpoint and port are configured in the uc4config.xml used by AWI for the login to AE https://docs.automic.com/documentation/webhelp/english/ALL/components/DOCU/24.0.0/Automic%20Automation%20Guides/Content/Installation_Manual/AWI/AWI_config_uc4config_xml.htm?Highlight=uc4config

If this doesn't help, please open a support case and provide the log files.
