Error in database loading with ucybdbld

Hi

We are going to perform an upgrade and migration from version 12.1 to version 24.3. A new installation of Automic 24 will be carried out on a new server. Using the DB Unload utility (to download the schema and data from the Automic v12.1 database) and the DB Load utility (to load the file obtained with the DB Unload utility and update the database schema to version 24), we will perform the migration and update of the database.

In the step to load the database with the DB Load utility v24, the following occurs:

./ucybdbld -B -X/Automic24/Utility/AWA.TXT
Error code = 21432
Application return code = 1

What does this error indicate? What are your recommendations?

Version of database not compatible to transport case.

I am migrating the database to another database server. The source database is in version 12. The data from this source database was downloaded using the DBunload utility. What should be the procedure to load the data from the source database into the new target database ?

Hi Karelys,

version 12.1 is out-of-support since September 2021!

Can you please try again with a transport case file instead of an export file. This has worked in my lab environment.
