Does the file downloaded and uploaded have to be the same for a sequence detector?

Let's say I have a sequence detector checking a single file download from O365, then a single file upload to a personal instance of dropbox within 30 seconds, does the file have to be the same file. I mean do I download the file from O365 then upload the same file to Dropbox to trigger the detector, or the upload could be any file "different from the downloaded" as long as it is within 30 seconds from the file download from O365?

It would be applicable to the sequence of events and not tied to the specific file.
