Cannot Cancel or Mark complete a job listed as executing in dseries that has finished on the server.

in the job log this command is being issued. any help would be appreciated!

There were no errors when a cancel or complete command was issued. It was as though the application was frozen.
Other dSeries applications continued processing with no errors.

the logs were included in CA case

I have had this happen before even back in dseries 11.3 (we are now on 12.3).   It probably isn't the best solution but to fix it I have stopped the espdseries server,  renamed the runonce.properties.bak  to remover the .bak and restarted the server.    This does a Cold start so it clears out everything so you wouldn't want to do it if you have any active jobs.

We need to know if there was any error when cancel or complete action is done on this job. Does server respond with any message for the actions.

We need to investigate at the log level.

I have exactly the same problem, except for an additional message displayed in console "Job XXX is not an active job managed by the Manager." or "Application XXX~~ is not an active application managed by the Manager."

The first problem is the fact the status have not changed from exec to complete/failed automatically, the second one is it cannot be changed manually. The consequence is it will prevent any other generation of the same appl to start if it is marked as "do not trigger if it is active".
