as above : I have a script that runs as a different user to the AM remote agent, and as part of the script execution i want to be able to update a subvar value using the awexe utility, but when i run it i get the following error:
mknod pipe: Permission denied579 Error Failed to mknod pipe /u01/app/appworx/agent/REMOTE1/pipe/AWEXE_262032_PIPE
Anyone know if it is possible to successfully call awexe from a user other than the AM agent user ?
Solved this problem by creating a script containing the awexe call and calling it via SURUN to run under the remote agent user
