About Connecter Xpress/EndpointType.

Hi Team,

We have received some questions from our customers, so please answer them.

Identity Manager 

[Question]

We have the following objectClass in OpenLDAP for which our customer wants to register an endpoint.

 

・objectClass: posixAccount

・objectClass: shadowAccount

・objectClass: sambaSamAccount

 

 

Is it possible to add a Structure for mapping these with IDM's Connector Xpress?

The image below shows the specific operations.

[New Endpoint Type]-[Classes]-[UsersAccount]

Is there a way to select the above objectClass from the pull-down of the "Structure" item in "Connector Map to" under Map Account Class?

When CA Directory DSA is used, custom object classes are available in "Structural" and "Axiliary" drop-down lists in "Map Account Class" dialog.

It should be the same in case of OpenLDAP based DSA, as it should also expose its schema.

Based on the answers we received, we are checking to see if it is possible to add the information requested by our customers from the screen below.

I am unable to select a custom object class from the dropdown list.

 

[New Endpoint Type]-[Classes]-[UsersAccount]

From the pull-down of the "Structure" item under "Connector Map to" under Map Account Class

How can I display a custom object class in a dropdown list?

If it is possible to display the object class, please tell me how to display it (setting method).

Custom classes appear automatically in drop-down lists.
I've just created a custom class, derived from inetorgperson, and added its schema to existing DSA.
Next I restarted that DSA, and created a data source from it in ConXp
In a new project created from that new data source new custom class can be selected from drop-down list

In our customer's environment, it appears that custom classes are not automatically appearing in the dropdown list.
