Our team is excited to announce that Team Build 1.9.0 was released today. This release includes the following features:
- Windows client installer - You can now easily install the client-side components of Team Build (syncz, exportz, sbomz, and cobol-ls) on your Windows machine.
- Specification of files to sync (syncz) - You can manage what files should be synchronized by syncz in the syncz.yml with the filelist property.
- Improved integration with Endevor Bridge for Git mappings (exportz) - You can now use the .bridge.json-specified processor groups in a Bridge for Git mapping as part of a build when they have exported their project from Endevor using exportz. Doing so overwrites any processor groups that are specified in the BUILDZ.js file.
- Javascript API for submitting jobs and additional JES features (buildz) - You can submit jobs through the Javascript JES module and view the output. Also, you can list jobs based on filters (jobname, jobID, owner).
- Added fs.readBuffer and Buffer options (buildz) - Reading binary content from files is now supported (including the '\0'character).
- Added append option to fs.copy and fs.write (buildz) - Data sets that have a \0 character are correctly appended to existing data sets (files) in exported scripts.
Note that there are additional packages available as part of this release, both the separate Windows Installer (.msi) and a zip file with all components plus the Windows Installer (...with_msi_v1.9.0).
