Endevor supports CCS Apache Tomcat 10!

Hi all,

I am happy to announce that both Endevor v19.0 and v18.1 now support CCS Apache Tomcat 10! The latest supported version of CCS Apache Tomcat is 10.1.31. For more information, see CCS Apache Tomcat Compatibility.

To enable Endevor to work with CCS Apache Tomcat 10, please apply the following maintenance:

It's great to see Endevor is ready to adopt Tomcat 10, but I'm at a loss to understand the value offered by the latest release - it doesn't even seem to get a mention on the linked CCS page.

The big change is Java 11 for Tomcat 10 (was Java 8 for Tomcat 9). Java 8
goes EOS in Sept 2026 from IBM. So at some point Tomcat 9 won't run on
supported z/OS levels.
