    Hi all,

    I am happy to announce that a new enhancement: REST API/CLI Limit Parameter - Limit Excessive Element/Package Query was published for Endevor V18.1 and V19.

    Description:

    This enhancement adds a new Limit parameter to the Endevor REST API, Endevor API, and Comma-Separated Value (CSV) reporting utility. The Limit parameter is also available for Endevor Plug-in for Zowe CLI versions 8.1.0 (lts v3) and 7.8.0 (lts v2).

    As currently implemented, clients are able to request arbitrarily large lists of Elements or Packages through wildcarded requests. Doing so introduces a performance issue for existing clients such as Explorer for Endevor when a user accidentally lists a very large number of Elements, causing a long response time and wasting resources. The Limit parameter mitigates this issue by allowing clients to set limits on the expected number of Elements or Packages that are returned.
