Is there a list of available interfaces to Endevor? How about Types of code supported by Endevor?

    Dana

From TSO/ISPF, you can use 'classic' endevor as well as Endevor/Quickedit dialogs.

From MVS batch job, you have the endevor batch programs and utilities

A program running under TSO, ISPF or batch MVS can invoke the endevor API

From a workstation, you have the Change Manager Enterprise Workbench

From the network, you have the Endevor Web Services

You can store whatever you need as endevor elements. Often, customers store source programs suitable to be generated (compiled) by MVS compilers or utilities, but indeed they can be virtually anything that makes sense, either text or binary.

    Hi Dana,

As far I know there is not list of interfaces to Endevor but this is a good idea for a new document, I will work on it.
For now, I share a list with you:

    Classic ISPF Interface
    CA Endevor Quick-Edit
CA Endevor External security Interface (ESI)
CA Endevor Application Program Interface (API)
    CA Endevor SMF Interface
    CA Endevor SCM Reporting Interface
    CA Endevor Eclipse-Based interface
    CA Endevor Web services
CA Endevor INE integration software's online interface (Natural environment)
CA Common Communications Interface (CAICCI) for CAP
CA Common Communications Interface (CAICCI) for Web Services
    CA Panvalet Interface
    CA Librarian Interface
    CA 7 Interface
    CA Brightside plug-in
    CA Compliance Event Manager Interface
    CA Application Lifecycle Conductor Webhook
CA SCM Change Manager Enterprise Workbench

Let me know if this is what you were looking for?

I agree with Eduard's answer about the type of code.

    Regards,
    Ollivier

    Eduard & Ollivier,

A complete list of both interfaces and types of code supported (explicitly) would be helpful for Management decision support. As you are aware, there is a proliferation of tools that are acquired and/or developed in-house to support the business with little knowledge of the capabilities of existing tools, specifically Endevor. Such a list would be super helpful for budget management. Here is what I have, including what you have provided. There is some duplication to support an alpha search at-a-glance. Maybe it will be helpful to someone. Teradata is still a question mark - I developed a process/processors to support it 10 years ago but the company has evolved significantly since then.

Please let me know if you, or anyone else, has anything to add....Thanks, Dana

    Hello Dana,

I would like to contribute to this discussion adding a link that is related with the Endevor Interfaces presentation that I gave to the UK user group on 12th June 2018. I hope that is helpful for you.
