    Hi guys

I install “ca service management” version 3.1.7 build 6 by Google Play Store, to the facility end users to generated easily Incidents, Services Request and attend your owns PAM task.

The issue that experiments is that I can’t see the capability “My Task” when access to SC/USS portal (http://fqdn:8080/usm). The only enabled capabilities are “MyRequest” and “Services”. The screenshot is shown in “portal_SC-USS.png” file.

    portal_SC-USS - copia.png

However, accessing to SDM portal (http://fqdn:8050) the capabilities by SDM and PAM tasklist are shown. The screenshot is shown in “portal_SDM.png” file.

    portal_SDM - copia.png

So, my questions are: is possible shown PAM tasklist capability in SC/USS portal by mobile app?

    Best regards

    Hi Eduardo,

With in USS - settings - data sources - service desk - there is a URL for SDM REST API (mobile app support). That needs to be set to the SDM rest tomcat URL and needs to be available to the mobile device for the Tasks  and Analyst Queue capabilities to show up in the app (when the app is pointing to USS)

Hi Raghu, thank you by reply.

I think that end users could be use mobile app to approve requests submited by your own employees.

What do you meaing in "when the app is pointing to USS"?

This's the point that dont understand.

    Thank you a lot.

When using the app, if you use the URL of USS server versus using SDM rest API URL.

So, in other words, does you say me that PAM Task List isn't available in USS access?

No, what I meant was, unless you have configured USS’s  SDM DSN with the Optional Service Desk REST URL for Mobile APP configured.

See below screen,  its the red underlined URL  ending :8050

I've the same configuration. Accessing to this URL (http://SDMHostName.ca.com:8050) gets the SDM capabilities, but can't reach offers availables in services catalog.

    Then, this my current situation

    - accesing to USS can't reach PAM Tasklist

    - accesing to SDM can't reach offers publish in Service Catalog.

    So:

    - how I can configure USS to reach's PAM tasklist

    or

    - how I can configure SDM to reach's the Service Catalog offers.

    Best regards guys

    Eduardo,

I revisited your original question again. and I think I realize where the confusion is.

"I can't see the capability My Task when access to SC/USS portal (http://fqdn:8080/usm)."

When I saw the USS reference, I assumed that your app was pointing to  http://UnifiedSelfService-Hostname:8686   - >   this way, you should be able to see Catalog (My Requests, Services), Workflow (My Tasks), and SDM (Analyst Queue)

But looks like you pointed it to  Catalog URL,   http://CatalogServer:8080/usm  - >    This way,  you will not be able to see  Analyst Queue, or My Tasks.  You would only see Catalog (My Requests, Services).

If you point the app to  SDM REST URL:   http://SDMServer:8050  - >    you would be able to see Workflow (My Tasks),   SDM (Analyst Queue)  but you would not be able to see Catalog.

Hope this explains it a bit better than my previous response.

Perfect Raghu.Rudraraju, thank you very much.

Joining to http://cat-server-fqdn:8686 works. This portal shown: Catalog services, PAM worklist and SDM capabilities.

A detail: I'm doing login with a specific user account, but the mobile app indicate that “CASMAdmin” account as user logged on.

So, what could be due this?

    Best regards

    Eduardo,

    Glad it helped.

I'm not sure if I understand the question around casmadmin..  Can you clarify, or maybe raise a new thread on it?

    Hi Raghu.Rudraraju, sorry by delay...

About my comments: the mobile app indicate that “CASMAdmin” account as user logged on.

    Let me explain:

Joining to 8686 port and after login process, in the top area the apps shown “CASMAdmin”, but I don’t take in mind that this area corresponds to “Community Questions” and in our services implemented we have a question created by CASMAdmin user. For this reason, the app's shown “CASMAdmin” but this refers to “Community Questions”.

So, disabling this function, the "Coomunityu Questionss" area disappears …problem solved!
