  • 1.  defaults value in Contact creation

    Hi gyus,

    I've AD/SM integration, mapping fields works fine, but notifications method doesn't set when the contact record is created. That is the issue.

     

    I was thinking, as a possibility, to use 'default value' (data partition) in Contact table to the creating Contact account.

     

    Other way, if is possibly, is using ldap.maj file in the case that lets set a default value for a Contact field.

     

    Exists another best way to do this?

    Hi Eduardo,

     

    You can specify a default value for new contacts in the schema designer.  Currently we automatically set access type, contact type, and the notification methods.  Be sure you set the On New Default Value: for each of the four notify_methods.  This value needs to be the SREL ID for the row in the contact method table.
