Without knowing the exact figures per period incl. the assignment/allocation timeframe, a calculation might not lead to the correct result.
If the ETC for one month = 20 Days you would expect 1 ETC in FTE, if the assignment falls exactly into one month.
If the Assignment exceeds this one month, the FTE figure will decrease. For example: 20Days ETC for an assignment of 2 months are still 20 Days, but only 0,5 ETC as FTE.
It's just a best guess, without the exact figures.

Just wondering again...
How does that work?
If you have
106 hours and 8 hour day you get 13.25 not 1.3
246 hours you get 30.75 not 3.08
What am I missing?

Thanks so much! I changed it and the hours look good. The FTE however did not equal hours.
in the example above Actuals total hours were 246
The task total hours was 1.33

In the Admin Classic>Project Management>Settings>General.... "Default display for work effort" it is set to hours.
Is there somewhere else we can change this setting?
I didn't find anything in the Task Grid itself only Decimal places.

Which figures are displayed, when you switch to "hours" and "days" via the user's settings on the top right -> "General" -> Unit of Measure? I would assume, that it is currently set to FTE, but still the figures dont seem to add up...

The following are the hours in Workbench, which are the same in Clarity
Task | % complete | Resource | ETC | Actuals |
Sprint15 | 30% | R1 | 20 | 20 |
| | R2 | 40 | |
| | R3 | 40 | 40 |
| | R4 | 20 | |
| | R5 | 70 | 10 |
| | R6 | 50 | 30 |
| | R7 | 4 | 0 |
| | R8 | 2 | 6 |
Total | 246 | 106 |
This is what shows up in the new UI
