Subject: Plan for the potential impact of Adobe® Flash® Player on CA Application Delivery Analysis user interface

CA Technologies, a Broadcom Company, is continually working to improve our software and services to best meet the needs of our customers. This communication is to serve as a reminder that many browser vendors have announced they will drop support for Adobe Flash Player from their respective browsers after December 31, 2020 and to prepare your organization for that event in order to ensure your use of CA Application Delivery Analysis is not adversely impacted.

Currently, the Application Properties page of CA Application Delivery Analysis user interface uses Adobe Flash Player. The impacted pages are planned to be addressed using technologies (such as HTML) that do not require Adobe Flash Player. To that end, please take note of the following changes and plan accordingly:

1. The enhancement to deliver this solution is planned for availability through a patch update - 11.1.3.
2. The patch update would need to be installed on CA Application Delivery Analysis 11.x release. For prior versions, an upgrade to CA Application Delivery Analysis 11.x will be a prerequisite or the existing APIs can be used if the enhanced user interface is not required in the business environment. 
   
   

The patch update (CA Application Delivery Analysis 11.1.3) is planned* to be released during the third quarter (Q3) of the Calendar Year 2020.
