OneClick disable "Web Admin" menu option

Hi

Does anyone know is it possible to disable the OneClick "Web Administration" option from the right-click menu for a device model?

 

Alternatively is it possible to reconfigure that menu option to use HTTPS instead of HTTP?

I think the Web Administration option is one of the default ones, so not sure if you can disable it.

 

You can use attribute 'WebAdminURL' (0x3d007d) and remove all the text - default seems to have

 

http://<0x12d7f>

 

as default, so you can just change the http:// to https://

 

You might be able to look at some of the permissions and disable the Web Administration but haven't ever needed to do this. I'll check it out if this is possible.

Customising the xml files might be another option (OneClick Customisation).

I believe using the WebAdminURL attribute will give me what I need, ie replace HTTP with HTTPS.

 

For info within User Access Privileges there are options to disable Ping, Poll (snmp) and Telnet for users but not the Web Admin option.

I also did a search through the xml files to see if I could find where it was configured but had no joy there.

Ok that is good to know (that the Web admin is not in the UAP's).

 

I've never had to filter out only the WebAdminURL but good to know.
