We were attacked in January - Does Carbon Black offer Payout?

Hello,

We had blacksuit ransomware attack our systems that had Carbon black installed. This happened in January 2025. They took over 100+ devices uninstalling carbon black as they went. Carbon black never even detected it...

Does CB offer some sort of insurance payout if this happens?

Carbon Black itself doesn't provide insurance payouts, as it's a security tool rather than an insurer. For ransomware coverage, you'd need a separate cyber insurance policy, so check with your provider to see if incidents where security software was bypassed are covered, and contact VMware/Carbon Black support for guidance on remediation.
